We have the honour to invite you to our two-day long Focus Group Training which will be organised by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey (TÜBİTAK) under the “Turkey in Horizon 2020 Phase II” Technical Assistance Project which is co-financed by the EU and the Republic of Turkey and implemented by the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Industry and Technology within the scope of Competitive Sectors Programme.
This two-day event will take physically at Radisson Blu Şişli Hotel in Istanbul and it will also be streaming live on Zoom on the 24th and 25th of February 2022.
The event is an introductory event targeting potential participants in the Horizon Europe framework programme with little or no experience, as well as more experienced researchers that would like to learn about the new Horizon Europe European Innovation Ecosystems initiative.
The event focuses on the relevant calls of the Work Programme 2021-2022 for European Innovation Ecosystems which are:
- HORIZON-EIE-2022-CONNECT-01-01: Towards more inclusive networks and initiatives in European innovation ecosystems
- HORIZON-EIE-2022-CONNECT-01-02: Integration of social innovation actors in innovation ecosystems
- HORIZON-EIE-2022-SCALEUP-01-01: Expanding Entrepreneurial Ecosystems
In the event we shall present the ‘big picture’ of the calls, providing insight into the context, vision, objectives, and expected impacts for the EIE programme. We shall offer a closer look at the implementation aspects and elaborate on all EIE Calls for 2022. We shall also offer the opportunity for sharing first-hand experiences from the participation of Turkish institutions in similar H2020 calls. The event will conclude with a round table discussion amongst the panellists offering the opportunity of an interactive session with questions received from the participants.
The sessions are structured in such a way to help participants grasp the fundamental concepts and offer an enhanced opportunity to shed light on practical aspects, helping them winning from the experience and extensive know-how of the experts. The content is enriched with presentations, training notes, curated literature from the EU, and useful templates.
